Job Description:

This role involves providing proactive advice and assistance on injury and health matters to operational personnel. The position requires the ability to develop proactive health strategies, experience in workplace rehabilitation and injury management, and an understanding of medical terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice and assistance to operational personnel and management on injury, health and medical matters including the planning and implementation of proactive health strategies.
  • Promoting and facilitating proactive intervention measures to assist in early return to work of employees on health management plans and workers compensation.
  • Providing comprehensive rehabilitation services with the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs and plans for workplace injuries.

Requirements:

  • The capability to develop proactive health strategies in a work environment.
  • Prior experience in workplace rehabilitation and injury management.
  • An understanding of medical terminology and associated processes.
  • Good understanding of the Queensland Workers Compensation Legislation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Registered Nurses, Exercise Physiologists.
  • Administrative positions within the Health and Allied Health industries may also be suitable with training.
