Land Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Land Acquisition Specialist.

  • This role involves identifying and acquiring sites for potential development, conducting thorough site assessments and financial analysis.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, knowledge of the residential sales market, including buyer demand, pricing, and absorption rates.

About this Role:

  • Create detailed analysis and shortlist potential site opportunities for acquisition.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on new site opportunities, coordinating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and consultants.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, undertake sales analysis, and develop cash flow models to assess the viability of potential deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of sales rates and market trends within the targeted regions to inform acquisition strategies.
  • Analyse market data to guide product placement, sales strategies, and pricing.
  • Collaborate in deal structuring activities, providing support and input.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 6+ years' experience managing residential land subdivisions.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting due diligence and feasibility studies.
  • Knowledge of Estate Master feasibility software and advanced knowledge of financial principles and feasibility studies.
  • Proficient in financial modelling and cash flow analysis.
