About the Role

The Swim School Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of aquatics programs, including the Y NSW Swim School program, Schools Swimming lessons, and Lane Hire. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the Y NSW Swim School program, educational trends, and industry development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Swim School team to deliver high-quality swimming lessons and programs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve program participation and engagement
  • Manage budgets and KPIs to ensure program efficiency and effectiveness
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and community groups
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers

Requirements

  • Passion for teaching swimming and a strong understanding of the Y NSW Swim School program
  • Experience in managing and leading teams, with a focus on customer service and program delivery
  • Knowledge of budget and KPI management, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification
  • Working with Children Check
