Strategic Diversity Lead Role

This key role is responsible for leading the development of a comprehensive diversity, inclusion and belonging strategy. The successful candidate will join our team in the Financial Management and Services Group and work within the Treasury Finance and Services Division.

The Associate Director will lead on the development of our updated DIB strategy, conducting analysis of existing Action Plans to identify common themes, shared priorities and key opportunities for intersectionality. This includes analysing data from the People Matters Engagement Survey (PMES) and the Diversity Council of Australia's Inclusive Employer Index survey results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and finalising the updated DIB Strategy in line with best practice.
  • Conducting analysis and providing recommendations based on the findings.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to embed the new strategy.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Significant experience in developing and delivering diverse workplace strategies and programs.
  • Demonstrated high level skills in project and/or program management and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication, consultation, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent professional experience.
