Job Title: Director of Sales

Accor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales to join our team at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing integrated commercial strategies for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand demand, customer preferences, and seasonal trends.
  • Work collaboratively with the Revenue team to identify opportunities for revenue growth and implement dynamic pricing models.
  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns to drive bookings and revenue.
  • Optimise use of online travel agencies (OTAs), direct booking channels, and global distribution systems (GDS).
  • Ensure sales and marketing efforts are aligned with the commercial strategy.
  • Manage marketing strategies to maximise exposure and revenue for the hotel.
  • Develop a strong brand presence that resonates with our target audience and differentiates us from competitors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior hotel sales capacity.
  • Experience leading a team to achieve results.
  • Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills.
  • Understanding of hotel market segments and current trends.
  • Experience in development and execution of sales strategies at an individual property level.
