We are seeking a skilled sales professional to join our team as a Key Account Manager. As a key player in the Water Infrastructure segment, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in marketing and sales within the Water Infrastructure sector and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. A tertiary qualification in sales, engineering, or business is also highly desirable.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will also work closely with our team to contribute to sales and marketing strategies and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve sales, profit, and growth targets
  2. Conduct regular sales visits to customer locations and regions to build strong customer relationships
  3. Provide expert advice and support customers with tailored engineering solutions
  4. Actively promote Xylem WI services, spare parts, and long-term preventative maintenance agreements to establish customer satisfaction and retention
  5. Identify tender opportunities and follow up on leads to build a strong sales pipeline
  6. Prioritise new initiatives within ongoing or planned projects, allocating resources effectively to maximise revenue and maintain a balanced product portfolio
What We're Looking For
  1. Previous experience in marketing and sales within the Water Infrastructure sector
  2. Tertiary qualifications in sales, engineering, or business
  3. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  4. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
