As a Property Development Officer, you will be responsible for determining servicing and financial conditions for land development projects, coordinating with customers and stakeholders to provide expert advice and guidance.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, from new water and sewerage assets to alternative water solutions. Your skills and experience will be valuable assets to our team, and we are eager to welcome you on board.

About the Role:

  • Investigate, plan, and advise customers regarding the installation of drinking & recycled water, and sewerage assets
  • Prepare and administer Notice of Agreements for developments requiring connection to drinking & recycled water and sewerage assets
  • Ensure correct financial and servicing conditions are applied within established policy and that processing is completed within customer and business targets (KPIs)
  • Liaise, negotiate, and meet with internal stakeholders, developers, engineering consultants, surveyors, plumbers, builders, local councils, and other authorities regarding the provision of water, sewerage, recycled water, and alternate water facilities to development proposals
  • Provide technical advice to customers
  • Contribute to ensuring that policies and documentation reflect current best practice

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Land Development policy, Sewer Servicing Guidelines, Water Metering & Servicing Guidelines, and pricing standards which apply to the Land Development Industry
  • Essential Services Commission guidelines
  • Water Act, Subdivision Act, and Melbourne Retail Water Agencies Water and Sewerage Standards
  • Water (Estimation and Sewerage) Regulations 2014
