Job Title: Asset Manager

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the management of our diverse property portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, administering and coordinating leases, licenses, and agreements with community groups, commercial tenants, and government bodies.

They will lead property-related projects such as development agreements and land transfers, provide expert property advice, and act as an escalation point for complex property matters.

In this role, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders and represent us at property forums and meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of Council's property assets, including land acquisitions and property disposals.
  • Administering and coordinating leases, licenses, and agreements with community groups, commercial tenants, and government bodies.
  • Leading property-related projects such as development agreements and land transfers.
  • Providing expert property advice and acting as an escalation point for complex property matters.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A solid background in property management, including leases, land acquisition, disposal, and legal compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for building relationships and providing expert advice.
  • Experience leading property projects and driving improvements.
  • Skilled in handling complex property matters like leases, licenses, occupancy permits, and contaminated land management.
