Expert Property Valuer

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Rating Officer to support our Council in delivering essential services to the community.
This is a key role in supporting internal teams and ratepayers with expert advice and data, ensuring accurate property records and valuations to maximise revenue.
- Ensure accurate property records and valuations are maintained
- Process rate notices and waste management charges with precision
- Support internal teams and ratepayers with expert advice and data
- Contribute to business improvement and customer service initiatives
- Assist in the recovery of outstanding rates and manage concessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of municipal rates, valuations, titles, and subdivisions
- Experience using property systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
