Fire Safety Professional

The role of a Fire Safety Professional is to work collaboratively in an agency that provides fire, rescue, emergency and disaster management services. This entails responding to emergencies as part of a team, promoting community safety through education activities, developing competencies through regular drills and training courses.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to fires and other emergency incidents
  • Promoting community safety and emergency preparedness
  • Developing and maintaining competencies
  • Maintaining attendance standards for emergency incidents and training
Required Skills and Qualifications
