Key Responsibilities

  • Demand Planning: Create and uphold comprehensive statistical forecasts for a range of products within the Dermatological Beauty Division.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to incorporate market insights, promotional efforts, and new product introductions into the demand strategy.
  • Examine historical data, trends, and market conditions to pinpoint risks and opportunities, suggesting modifications to enhance forecast precision.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities in the demand plan, proposing strategies for mitigation.

Supply Planning:

  • Collaborate with global manufacturing and logistics teams to guarantee timely and cost-efficient production and delivery of products.
  • Assess inventory levels, lead times, and capacity limitations to formulate and implement a solid supply plan that aligns with demand while optimizing inventory and costs.
  • Proactively identify and address potential supply chain challenges, including material shortages and production delays.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to devise and execute solutions that improve supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Serve as the main contact for all inquiries related to demand and supply from internal stakeholders.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners, promoting a culture of shared responsibility.
  • Lead monthly demand review sessions, presenting forecast performance, insights, and action plans to senior leadership.
  • Communicate potential supply chain disruptions or risks proactively, offering solutions to mitigate impacts.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) concerning forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and delivery performance.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports to management, emphasizing significant trends, risks, and opportunities within the demand and supply planning framework.
  • Identify areas for ongoing improvement and spearhead initiatives to enhance planning processes and tools.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in demand and/or supply planning, ideally within the cosmetics or consumer goods sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proven track record of interpreting data and making informed business recommendations.
  • Familiarity with demand planning and forecasting software, as well as ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships and influence stakeholders at various levels.
