About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to become a trusted advisor, partnering with our business on crucial employment law matters to drive commercial success.

  • Provide commercial, strategic legal advice on employment law matters, including litigation, daily employment issues, investigations, disciplinary actions, discrimination cases, and termination matters.
  • Conducting litigation and advising on contentious disputes involving individuals. This includes acting in or partnering with external law firm partners to conduct litigation in tribunals and Federal Courts.
  • Advising on sensitive workplace investigations, regulatory matters, executive employment, legislative reform, employment-related compliance and psychosocial risk.
  • Governance & Compliance Support the People & Culture Legal and Governance team with various governance and compliance projects.
  • Future-Proofing Ensure our organization is prepared to adapt to changes in employment-related litigation or case law.
About You And Your Skills

We are looking for someone with:

  • Legal qualification and current practicing certificate.
  • 8+ years PQE in employment law, with a proven track record in litigation at tribunals.
  • Expertise managing complex employment law matters in large organizations, ideally listed.
  • Preferred Background Significant private practice, ideally combined with in-house, secondment, and/or workplace relations experience.
