About the RoleWe're seeking a Safety Lead - Fire to spearhead our safety transformation agenda across our vibrant manufacturing, logistics, and branch network in Australia. As a key member of our safety team, you'll be responsible for driving safety excellence and leading impactful initiatives to empower our operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety strategies to reduce risks and improve safety performance
- Collaborate with branch managers, manufacturing team members, and senior managers to instil a culture of safety excellence
- Lead safety training and coaching programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Diploma or equivalent in Work Health and Safety
- Qualified lead auditor
- ICAM Training qualified
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities
