About the Role:
The Medical Support Professional is a vital member of our team, responsible for managing patient appointments, updating patient details, processing Medicare/DVA claims, and performing end-of-day banking reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments in a timely and efficient manner
- Update patient details, including doctor referrals as needed, to ensure accurate records
- Process Medicare/DVA claims with attention to detail and precision
- Perform daily end-of-day banking reconciliation to maintain financial accuracy
- Prepare Eftpos summaries and reconcile against computer totals daily to identify discrepancies
- Audit typing of correspondence to ensure accuracy and completeness
