About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our Independent Grocery Team across Sydney metro and Newcastle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitable and sustainable sales growth for Bega through provision of strong leadership and coaching to a field sales team of Territory Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and develop sales team members through in-field customer visits
  • Manage and report on team performance, ensuring accountability to sales objectives and collaborate with the State Leadership Team to build and execute state-based action plans aligned with sales objectives
  • Develop regional marketplace plans aligned to sales performance metrics to drive growth
  • Drive collaboration across teams and functions for win-win outcomes and actively build an understanding of stakeholder goals
  • Drive sales volume & profitability through customer investments in pricing strategies, refrigeration placements, Customer Call Plans and the planning and executing of sales activities
About You
  • Experience in a previous Field Sales leadership role
  • Account Management – has successfully partnered & negotiated with customers
  • Has experience leading teams with a strong coaching focus in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Demonstrable inclusive, diversity and supportive people leadership
  • Lead positive team culture and strive for ongoing improvements in engagement
