Our Behaviour Support Practitioner role offers a unique opportunity to work in diverse settings, providing life-changing therapy to individuals with disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Behaviour Support Plans, conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilising positive behaviour support framework
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
  • Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
  • Working in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma)
  • Registration as an Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse, or Psychologist
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Positive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
