We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide life-changing therapy to individuals. You will work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.

About the Position:

  • ">
  • Key Responsibilities: Utilize assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing their potential.">
  • Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).">
  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilizing positive behaviour support framework.">
  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).">
  • Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma).">
  • Relevant registration such as Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Social Worker, or Mental Health Nurse.">
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.">
  • A positive and flexible approach to work.">
  • Strong communication skills and be a team player.">
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth.">
  • A valid Australian drivers license.">
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.">
  • Working with Childrens Check.">
