Health Teacher Opportunity
At our vibrant learning community, we are seeking a dedicated Health Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs across the 0-15 range.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of the Health & Physical Education curriculum, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills. They will also have experience in planning for and implementing impactful teaching strategies, guided by student learning outcomes.
We strive to foster opportunities for all members of our community, including children, young people, and adults. Our focus is on providing exceptional educational services with additional support for parents and the wider community.
The ideal candidate will be able to monitor and assess student learning, using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback on student growth and achievement.
Our multidisciplinary wellbeing team collaborates with co-located services to support children and families, including paediatrician, GP, speech therapists, occupational therapists, counsellors, and Maternal Child Health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Health & Physical Education curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement wellbeing programs
