The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Operator to join our team at the Woodlawn site in Tarago, NSW. As a Mechanical Operator, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and servicing gas engines, plant, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair engines and equipment
- Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Supervisor/Leading Hand
- Complete work orders, monitor stocks, and part requisitions
- Record and monitor operational plant while conducting preventative or breakdown maintenance
Requirements
- Proven mechanical aptitude and willingness to continuously improve mechanical/electrical skills
- Experience within the automotive repair industry is beneficial
- Australian recognised Automotives/Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's or Electrical trade certificate is advantageous but not essential
- Open to anyone with mechanical skills looking to upskill or gain experience within an emerging industry
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role
