About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security and Car Park Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Control Room, you will be responsible for assisting the Security team in the day-to-day running of the venue, including key issuance, CCTV camera operation, lighting systems, and swipe card access.

In this role, you will also manage the daily operations of the Car Park, ensuring that all relevant policies, procedures, and standards are met. You will work closely with the Manager to develop requirements and procedures to enhance Security and Car Park services, aligning with strategic and tactical goals in response to evolving national and international political events.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing team members, staff performance, rostering, training, and development. You will ensure that building security is maintained at all times, and the venue's security, fire systems, and CCTV systems are monitored continuously.

About the Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a diverse career in Security or a related field, showcasing both operational and administrative duties. You will possess excellent knowledge of State Legislation concerning the Police Service Act and Regulations, Security Industry, and Liquor Industry.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to manage work and time effectively in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and computer skills is essential. Sound communication, administrative, and organisational skills are also required. A current WA Security Licence, First Aid Licence, RSA Certificate, and Driver License are preferred qualifications.
