We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Regulatory Analyst to join our Finance, Reporting & Control team. This critical role will be responsible for the preparation and submission of accurate APRA regulatory reports, working closely with various departments to gather necessary data and ensure timely reporting.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in an APRA/Regulatory reporting function within the banking sector, with strong analytical skills and ability to deliver process improvements. They will also have experience producing financial result analysis for management and hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, commerce or a related field.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible work arrangements, educational support, and access to professional development opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the team's regulatory reporting requirements calendar;
  • Preparation and submission of Group Finance's APRA reporting requirements;
  • Collaborating with finance, risk, and compliance teams to gather and validate data for reporting purposes;
  • Conducting data analysis and ensuring completeness of regulatory returns;
  • Assisting in Regulatory Capital reporting to the Board and sub-committees;
  • Preparing Regulatory Capital forecasting;
  • Providing support and inputs to the Risk team to assist them in discharging their APRA governance and risk management duties;
  • Preparing daily Treasury control functions (P&L review, reconciliations);
  • Daily and monthly monitoring of prudential limits (e.g. APS 110/111 Capital, APS 221/222 exposures) in line with internal policy and APRA requirements;
  • Conducting detailed analyses of treasury data to identify trends and variances;
  • Maintaining and reconciling Treasury related general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data;
