**Job Description**

We are seeking a talented & committed Head of Middle School for 2025. If you are an innovative and inspiring leader, passionate and able to engage and challenge students through a student-centered approach to teaching and learning, you are invited to apply.

The Head of Middle School will be a member of the Leadership Team and responsible for the overall teaching and learning quality, innovation and support, with a focus on leading and managing a range of learning initiatives around pedagogy, student engagement, and innovation in design thinking pertaining to programs delivered across Years 7 to 9.

This position includes a teaching load of up to 0.4 FTE in the successful applicant's subject area. While a permanent role at the College, the Head of Middle School position is a tenured position for one year. The position attracts an allowance in line with College responsibility allowances.

**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

The successful applicant will have:

  • A four-year tertiary qualification in education
  • A current VIT registration
  • An Australian citizen or permanent resident status
