The Mater Clinical Education Team is seeking an Education Coordinator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, for the Inpatients and Gynaecology Services Mater Mothers, South Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:- Building interprofessional workforce capacity, capability, and competence through contemporary and evidence-based education.
- Designing and evaluating evidence-based resources and learning opportunities to meet the needs of Mater and the community.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop tailored learning plans for staff requiring additional support.
- Engaging in educational research and quality improvement initiatives.
Supporting professional development and performance management processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and competency standards. Incorporating simulation methodology to enhance skills, knowledge, and teamwork in an interprofessional environment.
About YouThe ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife.
- Postgraduate qualification in teaching or education equivalent, highly desirable.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the relevant specialty.
- Minimum of two (2) years in a clinically based education role.
Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical education.
