Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and motivated Disability Support Workers and Mentors to join our family-owned business. The role involves assisting clients with daily living needs, including short and long shifts, including sleepovers. This position offers a flexible schedule for a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living needs, promoting independence and choice.
  • Provide care that empowers clients' independence and choice.
  • Manage challenging behaviours and maintain a safe environment for clients.

Selection Criteria:

  • Essential:
    • Certificate III in Community, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent.
    • Reliable vehicle, valid Driver's License, and third party insurance.
    • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
    • Current National Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain one.
    • Current Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one.
    • Reliability, responsibility, and commitment to regular working hours.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
