We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist (Analytical Chemistry) to join our Environmental Forensics team in delivering independent and rigorous scientific evidence and expert advice on environmental forensic and analytical chemistry analysis services across NSW.

• Deliver high-quality environmental forensics projects focused on characterising and analysing chemical pollutants in environmental matrices.
• Maintain, develop, and troubleshoot analytical methods.
• Provide advice to support response and recovery activities following pollution incidents and environmental emergencies.

You will have scientific qualifications, knowledge, and demonstrated experience of analytical chemistry and/or environmental forensics science, including analytical methods development, environmental samples analysis, troubleshooting, and interpretation.

Our Environmental Forensics team is part of the Environment and Heritage Group, which conserves and protects the state's natural environment, manages the NSW national park estate, and ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state.
