Lens Fitting Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our fitting team at Silverwater.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the fitting and QC function to ensure processes run efficiently
  • Fit lenses into various frame types and supervise final quality assurance inspections
  • Operate and maintain edging equipment and manual fitting tools
  • Investigate and resolve fitting issues and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor output and accuracy against production targets and KPIs
  • Train and mentor staff to develop technical skills and consistency
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in an optical lab fitting department
  • Strong technical knowledge of lens fitting across all frame types
  • Familiarity with optical QC systems and inspection standards
  • Ability to manage workflows and identify errors
  • Trade qualification in Optical Dispensing is advantageous but not essential
