The opportunity :

We are known for offering inclusive, innovative, and fun group fitness options. As a Group Fitness Manager at our Camberwell club, your main goal will be to lead, mentor, and develop your team, promote group fitness initiatives, and increase member engagement.

This role is suited for a passionate Group Fitness professional with at least 2 years of experience, including management experience.

Must be available :

  • Monday: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Key responsibilities :

  • Recruit and attract Group Fitness Instructors
  • Manage and timetable up to 100 classes weekly
  • Coach, motivate, and inspire new instructors
  • Build a positive team culture
  • Organize, market, and run group classes
  • Maintain energetic, focused, and professional classes
  • Manage budgets and prepare reports
  • Act as a role model and brand ambassador
  • Ensure excellent member experience at all touch points
  • Follow Work Health and Safety protocols

To be successful :

  • Passion and significant experience as a Group Fitness Instructor (Les Mills or studio style preferred)
  • Previous management experience in a health club or gym
  • Registration with Fitness Australia
  • First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Cert III in Group Exercise Instruction
