About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement and Contracts Unit.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting and overseeing the preparation of quotations, tenders, and expressions of interest, as well as the formal execution of contracts and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement documents, including quotations, tenders, and expressions of interest.
  • Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Procurement and Contracts Unit.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or job-related experience in procurement/tenders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of procurement/tenders processes within the Public Sector environment.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing excellent customer service with a highly developed understanding of customer service principles.
  • Ability to operate within a flexible, versatile, and committed team environment.
  • High-level organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • High-level Personal Computer software skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
