About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement and Contracts Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting and overseeing the preparation of quotations, tenders, and expressions of interest, as well as the formal execution of contracts and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of procurement documents, including tenders, quotations, and contracts
  • Coordinate and manage the procurement process, including sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and internal customers
  • Provide expert advice on procurement policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and plans

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or job-related experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and policies, including the Public Sector environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High-level problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
