About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement and Contracts Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting and overseeing the preparation of quotations, tenders, and expressions of interest, as well as the formal execution of contracts and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of procurement documents, including tenders, quotations, and contracts.
  • Coordinate and manage the procurement process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and internal customers.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Procurement and Contracts Unit.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or job-related experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and regulations within the public sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
