About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Planner or Scientist to join our dynamic team at Umwelt. As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will contribute to delivering environmental impact assessments and environmental planning work across various sectors, including renewables and infrastructure.

In this role, you will assist in preparing and conducting environmental impact assessments, gather and analyse environmental data, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.

You will also engage with stakeholders, prepare detailed reports, and assist in the development and implementation of environmental management plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and conducting environmental impact assessments

About You:

  • Degree qualification in environmental science, planning, or related discipline
  • 1-5 years' experience in environmental planning or consulting
  • Strong technical aptitude and project management skills
  • Adaptability to undertake a range of technical work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
