Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Document Registration Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for registering various documents with Titles Office in QLD and/or NSW, stamping dutiable documents as a self-assessor for the State Revenue offices, and arranging payment of duty where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to registration of land registry documents for each state
  • Maintain strong communication channels with the team to ensure efficient file preparation for lodgement
  • Stamp dutiable documents as a self-assessor for the State Revenue offices in each state and arrange payment of duty where applicable
  • Prepare letters and send registered documents to clients and residents
  • Liaise with the team to prepare files for lodgement
  • Ensure that all land registry documents are correctly filed and registered in accordance with each state's regulations
  • Continuously monitor and improve the stamping and registration process to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Support colleagues with ad hoc requests

Requirements:

  • Experience in registering various documents with Titles Office in QLD and/or NSW
  • Experience in stamping various documents with the State Revenue Offices
  • Experience in VIC, SA and Tasmania would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a high-performing team
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
