About this role

The ideal candidate will lead a team of skilled automotive technicians, overseeing day-to-day workshop operations and ensuring all maintenance and repair work is carried out to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled automotive technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures to maximise efficiency and reliability of our fleet.
  • Ensure all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with the operations team to coordinate vehicle schedules and respond to any urgent maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and costs.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as an automotive maintenance professional or in a similar senior leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems and fleet management software.
