Continuous Shift Steam Operator

This role involves operating and monitoring the boiler station to ensure sufficient steam for factory operations and external demands. It also entails managing the turbine generators, ash handling systems and bagasse system.
Main Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor the boiler station to guarantee optimal performance and efficiency.
- Provide regular and accurate feedback to management on station performance and areas for improvement.
- Achieve relevant sugar milling module competencies through training and development programs.
- Assist with the professional development of boiler assistants by mentoring and coaching.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and adhere to all protocols and procedures.
The position operates on a continuous rotating shift roster during crushing, including weekends and occasional overtime. Once crushing is complete, the role switches to a day shift schedule with RDOs most Fridays.
Your Winning Combination:The ideal candidate must have a High Risk Work Licence for Turbine Operator (TO) and Advanced Boiler Operator (BA). While applicants with other High-Risk Work Licences are desirable, training will be provided for those showing aptitude and fit.
