Become a Steam Powerhouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Steam Powerhouse Operations Specialist. As part of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our steam power generation system.

About the Role
  • This is a key position within our operations team, requiring strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
  • You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and running efficiently.
  • In addition to operating and maintaining equipment, you will also be responsible for monitoring performance and providing feedback to management.
  • Your role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, so you must be able to stay focused and composed in challenging situations.
Responsibilities
  1. Operate and maintain steam boilers, turbines, and related systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  2. Monitor and control system performance to optimize output and reduce costs.
  3. Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  4. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  5. Provide regular reports and updates to management on system performance and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in steam power generation and operation.
  • High Risk Work Licence for Turbine Operator (TO) and Advanced Boiler Operator (BA).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
