About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join our expanding team. As a key member of the Financial Crime and Fraud Operations team, you will support the onboarding experience for new customers and help manage customer risk for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform enhanced and ongoing customer due diligence activities to manage our clients' customer risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Support customer enquiries through webchat, including those in relation to onboarding, login support.
  • Manage complaints in line with our complaints management framework.
  • Support the Financial Crime and Fraud Operations, and Product Operations teams with customer management activities, including actioning of transaction monitoring alerts and fraud alerts.
  • Identify enhancement opportunities and perform uplifts of the customer onboarding process and relevant operating procedures.
  • Support internal and client reporting in relation to all aspects of onboarding, including management of SLAs and KRIs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to escalate and investigate issues and exceptions.

Requirements

  • Experience in know-your-customer (KYC) or customer due diligence (CDD) across both business and retail customers within a regulated industry (e.g. banking) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a customer service role.
  • Familiar with the financial crime regulatory and compliance environment, including understanding of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act.
  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data.
  • Excellent written, communication and problem-solving skills.
