About us

We are a luxury hotel located in the heart of Perth, Western Australia.

Our hotel features 205 rooms and suites, each with its own unique style and amenities.

We offer a range of services and facilities to our guests, including a fitness centre, spa, and outdoor infinity swimming pool.

Our hotel is also home to four distinctive restaurants and bars, offering a variety of dining options for our guests.

We have a total of 2,000 square metres of conference space, including a spacious 572 square metres ballroom fitted with the latest AV technology.

The role we are hiring for is that of an overnight commis chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cold foods and ingredients for cooking, as well as monitoring food quality while preparing food.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Certificate 3 in Cookery and COVID Hygiene Certificate from the Australian Hotels Association.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare cold foods and ingredients for cooking (weighing, measuring, mixing, portioning, chopping, and storing food)
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, establishing priority items
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food
  • Serve food in proper portions onto dishes, plates, mugs, and bowls, ensuring proper plate appearance
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
