Role Overview

This strategic partnership role drives organisational performance by aligning human capital practices with business goals. As a trusted advisor to the organisation, you will provide expert guidance on employee relations, workforce planning and culture initiatives, while managing risk and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop HR strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead organisational design, change management, workforce planning and succession strategies
  • Offer coaching and advice to managers on performance enhancement, leadership development and compliance best practice
  • Manage employee disputes, investigations and complaints, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment
  • Represent the organisation in union consultations, employment law proceedings and external forums
  • Drive implementation of performance management, talent development and continuous improvement programs
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence
  • Foster a positive, healthy and safe work culture through health, wellbeing and safety initiatives
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree qualification in Human Resources or related field, accompanied by 5+ years of senior HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, industrial instruments and HR policy frameworks
  • Proven track record in employee relations, conflict resolution and dispute management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and transformation initiatives, driving cultural shift and organisational growth
  • Excellent consultation, coaching and influencing skills, with expertise in stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgement and strategic thinking in fast-paced environments
  • Current certifications in Working With Children Check, NDIS Screening Check, Police Check and Driver's Licence
