Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team and lead the financial operations of our organisation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of our organisation and supporting business growth through effective financial planning and analysis.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the finance and payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations, and managing end-of-month and end-of-year reconciliations and reporting. You will also assist with the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial operations
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and debt collection functions
  • Manage end-of-month and end-of-year reconciliations and reporting
  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
  • Ensure compliance with ATO, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making
  • Implement process improvements and internal controls

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and payroll requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and analytical capability
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
