We are seeking a skilled technician to fill a key role in our Sydney-based service team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are reliable, motivated and suitably qualified. The role involves regional travel throughout the state, with occasional interstate or international travel.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out maintenance and repair work on automated packaging and processing equipment.
  • Installing machinery and commissioning new machines to customer requirements.
  • Maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Executing modifications and upgrades of existing machines.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An electrician with mechanical aptitude &/or mechanical trade qualification with restricted electrical license.
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting skills (Low voltage 24vdc).
  • Experience in the food industry with packaging and processing equipment.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude with methodical approach to solving technical issues.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals & drawings.
  • The ability to apply appropriate problem-solving techniques to technical, application and other related issues.
  • Intermediate knowledge in MS Office with comfort using various Apps/software on associated devices.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • A driver's license.
