Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist - Power Generation to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting and diagnostics on Cummins and other manufacturers generators, and installing and commissioning new gensets/systems, transfer switches & Digital Master Controllers (DMC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostics on Cummins and other manufacturers generators.
  • Install and commission new gensets/systems, transfer switches & Digital Master Controllers (DMC).
  • Maintaining and repairing switch gear & battery systems.

Requirements

  • Relevant and current QLD electrical trade qualification.
  • Full unrestricted A Grade Electrical license in QLD.
  • Experience in a Field Service Role or similar is desirable.
  • A high level of mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of internal combustion engines.
  • Proven ability to perform detailed fault finding on complex control systems with strong attention to detail, problem solving and a high level of accuracy.
