Job Title: Power Generation Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Field Service Technician to join our team in Mackay, QLD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services to our industrial customers in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities on power generation products in the field, adhering to documented schedules and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Cummins and other manufacturers' generators.
  • Install and commission new gensets, transfer switches, and Digital Master Controllers (DMCs).
  • Maintain and repair switchgear and battery systems.
Requirements:
  • Relevant and current QLD electrical trade qualification.
  • Full unrestricted A Grade Electrical license in QLD.
  • Experience in a Field Service Role or similar is desirable.
  • A high level of mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of internal combustion engines.
  • Proven ability to perform detailed fault finding on complex control systems with strong attention to detail, problem solving, and a high level of accuracy.
