Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our power generation team, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to our industrial customers in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance activities on power generation products in the field to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and Diagnose: Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Cummins and other manufacturers' generators.
  • Install and Commission: Install and commission new gensets, transfer switches, and Digital Master Controllers (DMCs) to ensure seamless integration with our customers' systems.
  • Maintain and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on switchgear and battery systems to ensure reliable operation.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold a current and relevant electrical trade qualification in Queensland.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a full, unrestricted A-Grade Electrical License in Queensland.
  • Experience: Have experience in a field service role or similar, with a strong understanding of internal combustion engines and complex control systems.
  • Technical Skills: Possess a high level of mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of internal combustion engines, as well as the ability to perform detailed fault finding on complex control systems.
