Orthopaedic Expertise Opportunity

The Product Specialist will play a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using advanced technology.

This position requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide expert technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff during Mako-assisted procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of advanced robotic platforms during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotics.
  • Deliver ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation.

They may come from fields such as:

  • Orthopaedic clinical support
  • Biomedical science/engineering
  • Medical device experience
  • Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience
  • Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure
  • Human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience
