Job Description

As a key member of our finance team, we are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join us in Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone comfortable in a customer-focused, high-volume, fast-paced environment.

This exciting role has been created due to the company's growth and offers autonomy to manage and take ownership of your own ledgers after a qualifying period. You will be part of a vibrant, energetic team that values camaraderie and is committed to supporting your success.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and taking ownership of your own ledgers
  • Conducting credit assessments
  • Negotiating payment terms
  • Following up on overdue invoices and initiating collection efforts
  • Processing and verifying customer credit applications
  • Maintaining accurate customer records
  • Resolving unallocated payments
  • Prioritising competing tasks effectively
Required Skills & Qualifications

Ideally, you will bring experience in legal knowledge, insolvency knowledge, journaling credits, managing overseas collections, and strong communication and negotiating skills.

A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations is highly valued in this role.
