About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at the Perenti Group. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition Team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening underground mining personnel to mobilisation.

You will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working with urgency and under tight time constraints to meet the needs of our sites. With exceptional stakeholder engagement, you will partner with hiring managers to deliver top-notch service and maintain accurate recruitment data for reporting purposes.

This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 2 years of Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience, preferably in the Maintenance or Mining and Metals industries. You will have demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, blue-collar environment and a proven track record in 360 recruitment, including advertising, interviewing, background checks, and mobilisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive talent attraction: know what channels to use and how to engage and nurture talent into the hiring line.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Providing consistent best-practice approach to the hiring process and ensuring top candidate care is given
  • Maintaining a recruitment database to the highest standard
  • Collaborating with the TA team on candidate and market insights to assist with end-to-end TA process
