Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Peninsula Hot Springs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly. They will also assist in the preparation of food, receiving and storage of food supplies, and follow all health and safety standards and procedures.

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Assist in the preparation of food, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure timely receipt and storage of food supplies.
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • National Police Check.
