Opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced Swim School Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our swim school. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate staff, while maintaining a safe and efficient environment for customers.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about swimming and has a proven track record in managing small teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in aquatic industry management, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to make independent decisions and prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all operational procedures are followed, including staff supervision, customer service, and pool maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise swim teachers
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and perform daily checklists
  • Ensure the physical appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the site
  • Perform general administrative duties as required

Essential Requirements:

- At least 3 years' management experience in a similar role

- Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills

Aquatics Industry Certifications:

- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification (or equivalent)

- Current First Aid Certificate

- Current CPR Certificate

- NSW Police Check

Desirable Qualifications:

- Aquatics industry experience

- Prior experience in quality assurance of swim programs

- Financial management experience

- Familiarity with HR structures
