**Job Title**: Swimming Instructor for School Swimming

**Location**: Jamboree Heights State School

**Employment Type**: Part-Time

**Hours**: Monday - Thursday, between 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM (Hours will vary)

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to join our team for school swimming programs. The role involves working with school-aged children, providing them with quality swimming instruction to enhance their skills, water confidence, and overall enjoyment of the sport.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons for students of varying skill levels.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs, helping all students reach their potential.
- Collaborate with other instructors and school staff to ensure smooth operation of the swimming program.
- Maintain high standards of pool safety and hygiene.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications in Swimming Instruction/Coaching.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a school or coaching environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate young swimmers.
- Knowledge of water safety practices and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Availability to work Monday through Thursday during the specified hours.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience teaching swimming in a school setting.
- A passion for swimming and a commitment to fostering a love of the sport in young people.
