Key Responsibilities:- Assess student needs and provide advice and training on tools such as screen readers, speech-to-text software, accessible formats, and alternative input devices.
- Collaborate with staff and students to implement practical, person-centred solutions that reduce barriers in a tertiary education setting.
- Establish and review policy and procedures related to accessibility and inclusivity.
You will be part of a dynamic team passionate about equity, inclusion, and student success.
Requirements:- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency preferably in Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or other appropriate degree.
- Substantial and extensive relevant or clinical experience closely related to working with people with a disability, mental health condition, or other chronic medical conditions in a range of settings.
- Knowledge of current equity and diversity issues particularly as they relate to students with disability in higher education in Australia.
This is a full-time opportunity based in Perth, Australia.
